Hi, I'm Elliott! I've followed my love for designing and building electromechanical systems from Hawaii to Massachusetts where I study mechanical engineering in the GEAR Lab at MIT. Here, I am working on understanding pain points in domestic water-usage and sanitation systems in Indian villages.

Addressing people-centric problems often hinges on changing how people think and act. I approach that challenge both through making tangible things and through translating big, seemingly intangible problem statements into technical requirements. Going forward, I’m looking for new ways to apply my systems-level, user-centric thinking and my design and manufacturing skills to problems at the intersection of societal behavior and natural resources, such as sustainable agriculture and material waste reduction.

In my off time, you'll find me playing games, hiking to abandoned gem mines, glassblowing, or running.

Take a look at the projects below or feel free to contact me if you'd like to know more!
